BBC Two has given the green-light to Monty Dons Japanese Gardens, a two-part series that follows Monty as he explores some of Japans most beautiful gardens and the Wests enduring fascination with them. Monty journey’s through the countrys iconic and historic gardens, where he learns the secrets of creating a Zen landscape before visiting an unconventional garden created by a modern garden design legend. As well as touring the gardens, he experiences the countrys famous tea ceremonies and takes a lesson in the art of traditional flower arranging.
