Expedition Unknown chronicles the adventures of Josh Gates as he investigates iconic mysteries across the globe. Gates begins by interviewing key eyewitnesses and uncovering recent developments in the story, then springboards into a fully immersive exploration. This authentic, roughshod adventure leads Gates closer to the truth behind these unanswered global enigmas.
1) The Quest for King Arthur
Josh traverses England, Wales and Scotland, wading through history and legend to search for evidence of a real King Arthur. In Wales, Josh has a close call rappelling into the hundreds of miles of underground caves.
2) Genghis Khans Tomb
Josh journeys into the heart of Mongolia in search of the fabled lost tomb of Genghis Khan. After encountering harsh weather and resistance from locals, can Josh enter Mongolia’s \”Forbidden Zone\” to locate the burial grounds?
3) Blackbeards Hidden Gold
Josh explores the ocean floor of the Cayman Islands and the coasts of North Carolina in his quest to find the lost treasure of the legendary pirate Blackbeard.
